Fun game!
Both RPGs story mode is fun, great way to play through the songs while enjoying a story. Full English language support too. I am thankful to have this on a cartridge as well.

Good!!!
A nice little package. this game combines 2 rpgs previously released for the 3ds in japan only. this is not a direct port, thankfully the games are fully translated into English. the game does support the drum controller for switch, although only in free play mode. In story mode you need to use the buttons, which is bummer. not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have the option.

solo taiko no tatsujin
On the game itself, compared to the previous one on switch, this one is solo only. No option to play the songs with two players.
The song selections is different on the different games/RPG games and you have to switch to one game to another if you want to change the songs.
A two players mode and the complete selection of songs for the two games on the cartdrige would made this game a blast for the classic mode.
The RPG mode seems ok. Didn't have the time to complete this mode yet.

If you want only the new songs and multiplayer, you could be happier with buying dlc on the previous game; with some common songs on this release.

No regrets for me. I love Taiko no Tatsujin. And i am happy to put my hands on a physical release instead of a download. Thank you playasia.
