Very good rhythm game
With a good tracklisting, it is easy an very fun to play, but the harder modes are very challenging.
I was a bit disappointed by the taiko controller : each hit is recognized with a small lag.

Good game save the controller
I suppose I could be a bit picky, but the taiko controller simply doesn't cut it. When I first opened the box the response was not good as many of the hits on the center would not register (the sides are fine). After a lot of play it seems to soften up and the response is much better.

The game itself is great fun. It will keep you playing for quite a while as once you've mastered the difficult level there is an "oni" stage that will really put your skills to the test. For those living in Japan or abroad in apartments with thin walls, be aware that it's very loud and you will probably be bothering your neighbors if you play this too late at night.

Yet Another Incredible Title in the Taiko no Tatsujin Series
Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Dodoon to 2 Yome! is another great title from Namco Bandai. Like the first Taiko no Tatsujin Wii, this game has an incredible song list, and fresh and entertaining game-play. This title has many minor additions to the game-play, such as a boss mode for the story. The song list is again packed with a wide array of entertaining songs to play through. The differences in the difficulty levels makes it a good game for everyone from beginners that just want to have some fun, to hardcore gamers that want a serious challenge. Like the first however, most of the songs are understandably Japanese, so those who do not enjoy Japanese music might not enjoy this game. Regardless, like its predecessor I can't suggest this game highly enough. If you enjoy rhythm games, Japanese music, and have a method to play Japanese Wii titles, you really should buy this game, especially if you own the first Taiko no Tatsujin, because it will effectively double your song list. Also, if you order both with the TataCon, then you'll have the two drums necessary for multiplayer. Truly a great game.
