description

Play to the rhythm of seventy songs, for the first time in the Taiko series, lyrics are shown with the cues, get your friends and family to sing along while you play the drums. Join in the game through your Miis. Taikos are played during festivals, dance along and be merry with all the Taiko characters in this festive occasion.

Songs from famous games and anime such as Super Mario Brothers and Doraemon show up, meet your childhood friends again and have fun with them.

You have a mission, you have to develop baby taiko Watadon, the more frequent and the better you play, the faster Watadon grows up and can start composing songs for you or unlock sound effects. Seek to become the best Taiko player and take up challenges or receive new songs through the Taiko Mail Services.

Remember to practice everyday, start off in the dojo from the beginner level and the more you play, the more options you can access.

This is the ultimate party game.

Easy, fun and great music.
Taiko No Tatsujin has always been my favorite rhythm game, and this entry keeps it going. The gameplay is simple, easy to pick up but can still get extremely brutal on harder difficulties. There's a great selection of songs here, from anime to J-pop to Namco and classical music, so there's pretty much something for everyone. You can play using the Wii Remote or Classic Controller or the Tatacon, but no matter what you play with, you'll have fun. The graphics are just as adorable as ever, and now you can outfit your Taiko with outfits ranging from fish to pencils. There's a story mode (which is still fun without Japanese knowledge) as well as the Taiko Dojo to hone your skills. Only con seems to be a lack of minigames, though perhaps it is unlockable. Great purchase!

Standard fare, but still good
Not too much different from Taiko Wii 1, except for the boss battles. Story mode progresses at an even pace with some amusing taiko costumes/accents. The daily dojo is back, should you choose to do it. I haven't unlocked all the songs yet, but the selection is decent. I really wanted the Shinkenger OP, not gonna lie. I just wish taiko didn't typically use song covers!!

Easy and fun
This game is really easy to use, but still very fun.
It's more fun if you play this together.
I don't have the Taiko drum, so I'm using a Classic Controller.
This game has no learning curve, so that's why it's easy.
The characters are very happy, most music are happy, even without the drums, people can play this with ease.
