Great story, music, and gameplay!
Tears to Tiara II is a hybrid between a JRPG and a Visual Novel. Cutscenes are fully voiced, and the battles are fun, tactical and most importantly, never tiresome! The premise is something we've all seen before, however, but I guarantee that the story is really good. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing! (I hope they release the soundtrack CDs soon!) The game takes quite a long time to complete too. I'm 30 hours in, and haven't even finished half of it!
You have to get this game! If you want to try it out before making the purchase, feel free to play the free demo from the Japanese PlayStation Store. It's a very long demo, mind you. It took me around 2.5 hours to finish it!
To anyone who has read that the difficulty in this game is rather odd, the developers released a patch a little while ago, adding a "Very Easy" difficulty. All in all, I'm very glad I decided to buy this, even though I didn't play the prequel. I'm sure you'll enjoy this title just as much as I did :)
Pros: Stunning soundtrack, great gameplay, fully voiced cutscenes, update patch adds new difficulty level, DLC available, very long game, quite a big cast of characters
Cons: Lots of text (might be annoying for some), gets a little boring when conversation is derailed

great strategy game.
If you are a fan of this series, or just a fan of tactical RPGs. Then this game is a must buy.

it has a great story plot and if you enjoyed the previous Tears to Tiara then you will enjoy this one also
