Humanity's Last Stand.
Cattle Call has done a fantastic job with The Alliance Alive, addressing the complaints of its predecessor while building on its strengths to make something that’s truly special. Whether it be the engaging story, expansive overworld, deep combat, or unique progression options, this is a game that oozes quality in just about every aspect. The Alliance Alive is a must-play for fans of JRPGs, and a strong recommendation to anyone looking for another great game to add to their 3DS collection.

Fab!
At first the similarities to Legend of Legacy had me worried, but as previous reviewer said, they've fixed a lot of the annoying things in this game. The pace and game play are better regulated. Option to restart battle or start from quick save makes it easier to recover from a randomly strong monster. Mechanics are much like LoL, but addition of talent feature makes it more interesting. Good characters and plot, although my Japanese isn't 100% had to look up a few Kanji here and there ;)

Great game - forget about legend of legacy
Legend of legacy has let you down; lack of story, alots of grinding, little to no character interaction and development. This is all gone in Alliance Alive.

Although the story isn't really a unique one, it is still adequate. A world split into parts with human race subjugated by the demon race. Written by Suikoden 2 director, you can find yourself in some form of world building; recruiting individuals for guilds (not as party member but part of a resistance group).

The character development and interactions are entertaining and each character has their own personality. Battle system was inherited from Legacy but improved.

Warning: japanese language mastery is required. No furigana and voice acting.
