An Enjoyable CD
I thought the CD was very good. However the tracks are all tracks from the Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva movie, and I could only recommend this CD to those who like Japanese music or are fans of the game and/or movie.

The eternal diva
I would reconmend buying it if you enjoyed the song sung during the credits. Almost all 9 of the songs sound like that one, just shorter and has some of the orginal professor layton soundtrack mixed with it. The CD does include the song she sings in the credit and the vocal songs during the movie. Also it comes with lyrics in Japanese for all the songs that have vocals in it. although the music is very repetitive, overall its a good CD.

Jenis Quatlane - The Eternal Diva (Image Album)
This CD contains (mostly) vocal performances by the Jenis Quatlane character (really Japanese singer Mizuki Nana).
As such, the release of this "image album" is if the character actually exists, with few links to the Layton series on the CD artwork.
The CD itself is patterned like an old vinyl record, in keeping with the visual style of the series.
The songs themselves are quite pleasant, though perhaps not to the taste of casual non-Japanese fluent English listeners, though Layton fans should not be put off.
The first track commences as a variant on the Professor Layton theme from "Curious Village" before segueing into the main Jenis Quatlane track.
Track 5 on this CD can also be found on the Eternal Diva soundtrack CD, which contains the orchestral music from the movie; as such it is the only track present on both CDs.

Pretty Good for a fan of Professor Layton
I am a big fan of Professor Layton, and I got this soundtrack with high hopes. What happened? Well, considering that there is a soundtrack for the movie with all 39 non-vocal songs, this is...meh. Still, I like these songs for the voice and since it is orchestrial. Overall, buy it IF you are familiar with the movie and like the game series.

Not what I expected
I am a huge fan of the games, but this cd was really disappointing to me. I got it because I thought it would have some songs from the game. However this is nothing like the game. Almost every song has less then 1 minute and there are only 9 songs. I should've bought the games cds.
