worth a play through
I have the English 360 copy, and it is worth a playthrough. The story is good, and the game play is fun.

nice game
The menus and the interface of this game is in Japanese but it should not discourage you from buying it. The spoken language is in English, for those who can't understand Japanese and it should be easy to follow the storyline.

Even if you have no appreciation for the 'Godfather' movie and franchise, this game is solid on its own - attractive graphics even on the PS2 machine, a good game engine and interesting combat sequences (such as peeking from corners in a shootout).

While the game might feel like just another 'Mafia' or 'Grand Theft Auto' spinoff, it doesn't go along the path - you could wreck up businesses and gain protection money or you could venture too far up in trouble and start a gang war with a rival family. There are instances where you could stray too far from your family turf and end up in another gang neighborhood where they are certain to barricade your path and you'd be forced to fight your way through. You could also take on side missions for that little extra dough.

Overall, this is a good game - but the Japanese language menus might be a little difficult to navigate.
