After the death of the Foshan Great Wing Chun kungfu master Chan Wah Shun, little Ip Man continued learning Wing Chun under his senior fellow apprentice, Ng Chun Sui. When Ip Man grew up, he left his adopted brother Ip Tin Chi to study in Hong Kong alone. Foreigners took this chance to insult and discriminate him. At that time, he met his third Wing Chun master Leung Bik. Ip Man learned different Wing Chun theories from Leung Pik which greatly improved this Wing Chun kungfu. After his return to Foshan, Ip Man fell in love with Wing Shing and confronted with great barriers. Nice prequel to Ip Man
Although not as classic as Donnie's original. It has some nice martial arts fight scenes. Also watch out for Master Ip Chun's "Wing Chun" moves!

Outstanding Martial Arts Stunts
In terms of kung-fu action stunts, this is one of the best with creative stunts that come with a punch and impact. Drama and acting wise, it's one of the weakest. At any rate, the action more than made up for the shortcomings.
