  • A daring adventure awaits Link in Hyrule, where he can use his new ability to become a “drawing” and merge into walls of dungeons and fields. This opens up new ways to explore, and puzzle elements that give Link access to locations he could not otherwise reach
  • The game brings this top-down, 2D world to life with elevation and depth enabled by the Nintendo 3DS system’s 3D visuals. The stunning 3D visuals are made possible by the constant frame rate of 60 frames per second
  • Using the touch screen, touch and drag the item from the items window and switch the item assigned to the X and/or Y buttons

New World, Nostalgic Feeling:

The long wait is finally over as The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds becomes available for the market. Following six generations after the events of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, the game takes place in the same realm with new innovations in the game play and with nostalgic factor bringing players back in time.

Innovations in a Familiar Realm:

Enjoy old school top-down two-dimensional gameplay with a twist of stereoscopic 3D graphics. Explore all new dungeons and puzzles in a familiar world along with the utilization of the game’s 3D effect. Fight enemies with classic weapons such as the bow and arrow for long distance combat, the mallet for removing obstacles and the firestorm creator known as the Fire Rod. Discover Link’s ability to enter walls which resembles the opening of the scrolls and see how he turns into a drawing to collect items and enter through walls and move between the Light World and the Dark World.

Nintendo is just running victory laps around a set of mechanics they perfected decades ago but, at the end of the day, none of that matters: this is simply an absolute treat to play.
A Link Between Worlds uses 3D graphics and recent technology to return to the 2D roots of a series. On another, it’s surprisingly innovative, taking risks with the established Zelda structure and finding out what happens when you do. Put it all together and you have one of the strongest games on the 3DS.

Magnificent game
As all Zelda games, this one is among the best of them. It's an awesome game to have for Nintendo DS owners.

Absolutely outstanding!
I didn't read much about the game, but only got a word from my friend: "Get this. It's awesome", before I bought it. And man it didn't let me down. My first impression was, is this a remake of A Link to the Past or what? The map and stuff look exactly the same. But as the story rolled out I realized it was a as close to A Link to the Past as Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask, which is, nothing but the map. I'm only half way through the game but so far as I've seen it's one of the best Zeldas ever. I haven't played any Zelda games since, well, the last I played Skyward Sword (which is a long time) and I don't play video games a lot, but this really brings back a lot of good memories. I know a lot of people coming to Zelda from Ocarina of time or maybe the Twilight Princess and are not really familiar with 2D Zelda games. I think this game can be good intro. You won't regret it!
