混沌之初，神族與魔族大戰造成天界頹垣處處，女媧娘娘(張梓琳飾)捨身化成萬千五彩晶石補天，其中一顆卻掉落凡間花果山。晶石吸收天地精華迸出石頭靈猴， 他跟菩提祖師(海一天飾)習得法術取名「孫悟空」(甄子丹飾) ，在花果山自封為「齊天大聖」，更不知天高地厚大鬧東海龍宮並闖進南天門，卻意外獲得玉皇大帝(周潤發飾)賞識並賜爵「弼馬溫」。
未料，這一切都在魔族首領牛魔王(郭富城飾)掌握之中，他與孫悟空結交同盟、擺佈九尾狐如雪(夏梓桐飾)親近孫悟空、安排天宮臥底騙得孫悟空打破 戒律誤食蟠桃與仙丹，甚至假冒天兵摧毀花果山，激得孫悟空魔性大起，摧毀南天門大鬧天宮。牛魔王乘虛而入誓要攻陷天宮重振魔族聲威，天宮一片混亂…..

The 3D effect is truly spectacular!

Great effort from the whole cast
The fact that the whole cast, especially Donnie Yen, has to film in such elaborate and heavy makeup and clothes make this movie worth supporting. The 3d effect makes the movie truly spectacular.
