The Road To Prestige: Call Of Duty Black Ops III Launches Today!

PlayStation®4 XboxOne™ PlayStation®3 Xbox360™ PC [FPS] Release: Nov. 6th, 2015

Love it or hate it, Gamers can all agree on one thing, Call Of Duty has been a juggernaut of a series, with each successive launch more successful than the last; this can indeed be credited to it's increasingly faster speed with each iteration, along with the polish which comes from taking an extremely successful formula and tweaking it to near perfection.

For FPS fans, the 3-games-in-1 experience of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is an absolute bounty of mayhem. While many will immediately opt for the series signature competitive multiplayer, new changes to the Campaign mode - already lauded as the best campaign out of all the COD games - will make it worthwhile. With tremendous set pieces set within a new Cold War, players can either play solo or even cooperatively with a friend, online and via couch co-op!

For Multiplayer, players will be able to fluidly move through the environment with finesse via a new momentum-based chained movement system; with thrust jumps, mantling, and slides, the only limitation to a player is their awareness of the battlefield. As well, Black Ops III multiplayer introduces a Specialist character system; weapons and abilities are unlocked through challenge-based progression system, and keeping by keeping with tradition, the gamut of unlockables will cater to any play style. There has also been a huge revamp in perks, spawn points, and balancing, so that again, success in multiplayer will rely solely on the player.

Finally, no Black Ops title would be complete without Zombie Mode. Treyarch's newest offering is "Shadows of Evil," a film noir horror story with it's own distinct storyline, set in a fictional and stylized 1940's timeline. While the entire mode can be done alone, a major charm is teaming up with 3 other friends and watching the insanity ensue.

Treyatch has also taken steps to make sure that couch co-op exists for Multiplayer and Zombie Mode, as well as split screen. However, it must be noted that Campaign mode depicted in the Launch trailer above is not available on PS3 or Xbox 360.
