Item Description

At the close of the 20th century... A large-scale natural disaster struck the eastern area of a certain country. The disaster wiped out the financial sector and toppled high-rise buildings over a wide area, even as far as the main functions of the capital. This resulted in the loss of a staggering 158,000 lives.

At the dawn of the 21st century... Conglomerate PROBE-NEXUS, commonly known as Probe, begins reconstruction efforts in the eastern area of said country. Probe relocates its own base of operations to the ruined sector and builds a massive city run by the corporation. Lavished with colossal capital and cutting-edge technology, modern-day Babylon is made up of skyscrapers that put the old high-rises to shame, the biggest shopping mall in the world, and recreational facilities one might mistake for a theme park. This was the dazzling birth of a symbol for the new century. It became the most essential place on the planet and was christened Zone Prime.

Awful port of a mediocre game
Don't waste your money. This is the worst port of an arcade fighter since Arcana Heart 2 on PS2.
There are too many flaws here and missing features that have been standard in fighting games for decades at this point. The local versus mode is just arcade mode where you can't change characters as the winner, and you have to wait for the next CPU match to start before the opponent can even reenter. Training mode is broken where the opponent will just block randomly. And all in a game that just isn't that good. People have praised the animation, but it's just not good with low frame count and oddly "paper doll" looking animation. They also ripped three characters that were in the game BY DEFAULT in the NESiCA version of the game released in 2012, which this is based on, to sell as DLC. The DLC is included in this collector's edition, but it's still not worth it. Also included is a code to download a port of the first game that functions the same as the second, though in ways better, but without online, and this is the only way to get the first game. The PS2 port of the first game was better than this "bonus."
I feel like I was cheated. The game is fundamentally broken. Do not waste your money or time supporting this absolute garbage out of curiosity or a desire to collect novelties.
