|Matterfall (English & Chinese Subs) (PlayStation 4™, ASIA)||US$ 22.99 24h|
Matterfall is a side-scrolling shooter game published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Housemarque. It has platform game elements with a futuristic Sci-Fi world infected by "Smart Matter," an alien material. Players will take control Avalon Darrow, a freelance armored mercenary. Darrow can dodge, jump, and blast aliens. More so, Darrow can generate platforms for him to explore the environment as well as create shields to avert the enemies' attacks.
Matterfall features a core gameplay characterized by a marvelous combat loop combined with light platforming. Despite some new features, gamers will still be able to expect reminiscent signature of Housemarque such as the top-down shooters. It also has the anti-gravity area in some of the levels which will free players from thinking of the platforming and focus more on rough bullet hell sequences.
Gamers will expect a mega boss encounter at the end of each chapter. Such mega boss encounters will have increased difficulty from the normal ones. Winning in these mega boss encounters is crucial as the game has done away with checkpoints along the journey. It means that players must beat these gigantic bosses without facing defeat, a harsh challenge indeed, but one that adds a real sense of victory to and achievement at the end of each chapter! Successful encounters will allow players to unlock additional weapons and perks along the way.
- Combat enemies with a variety of powerful, high-end weapons
- Perfect your performance in levels to rack up a higher score than your friends
- Witness awe-inspiring visuals as Matter flows, glows, and explodes around you
- Created by arcade experts Housemarque – makers of RESOGUN and Alienation
What do they have to say?

One of the strongest selling points that Agents of Mayhem has is the Special Episodes™. What do they have to say?
It's not easy to still find ways to innovate in the open-world space, butVoltion has managed to stay on the pulse of the genre well enough over the past few years. Agents of Mayhem is another strong entry in the developer's fan-favorite library, and has just as many memorable characters and moments as the best Saints Row titles. There are times where it feels like a bit of a grind, but even those elements are outmatched by Agents' charm. Saving the world has never been this vulgar or felt this good, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
- Arcade Sushi
If you are looking for a game that is paying homage to live-action TV heroes and cartoons of the yesteryears of the 80s and 90s, then the agents of Mayhem is something that will definitely delight you.

But with Paradox Interactive's "Cities: Skyline" offered on the PlayStation 4™, you can build, manage, and own a city in line with your own strategy and creativity. To build your excitement even further, Cities: Skyline was released on August 15, 2017.
Experience the simple joy of making a city of your own liking. Build it, manage it, and make it yours! Be the first to play Cities: Skylines on the PlayStation 4™. For more information, click here.
Cities Skylines is a ridiculously clever and enjoyable game, and one that I expect I will spend a lot of time playing down the track. EA looks like it will not be revitalising Sim City as a franchise anytime soon, so I’m so glad that another developer has stepped up to the plate and created the game that the last Sim City should have been… and I am so glad it’s finally on PlayStation 4.

The Pillars of the Earth
|Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth (PlayStation 4™, EUR)||US$ 49.99 pend|
|Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth (PlayStation 4™, US)||US$ 39.99 pre|
Ken Follet’s: The Pillars of Earth is the official game-adaptation of the world-bestselling book, The Pillars of Earth. Despite it being a game adaptation of the said book, players will have the freedom of changing the events not solely based on the novel. More so, players will have the chance to influence the fate of the characters through “exploration, decision-making, and dialogues.”
For some hardcore fans of the novel, this move could be off-putting. But fans and gamers alike should not fret not as the game's writers are working closely with Ken Follet to keep everything as genuine as possible.
To preempt your excitement, here's the overview of The Pillars of the Earth:
Set in 12th century England, a time of great poverty and war, “The Pillars of the Earth” takes place in the fictional town of Kingsbridge as it begins the construction of a Cathedral to assure wealth and security for its people. Philip, a monk, becomes the prior of Kingsbridge abbey. Jack, an ambitious architect, is commissioned to build the village cathedral. Aliena and her younger brother Richard, have to survive on their own; after their father, the Earl of Shiring, is incarcerated and murdered. Meanwhile, Prior Philip’s rivals, Bishop Waleran and William Hamleigh, a vengeful noble rejected by Aliena, see the town and its rise to importance as a thorn in their flesh. They want to see Kingsbridge burn.
- A thousand-page novel, adapted as a videogame across 21 chapters.
- Change events from the novel and influence the fates of its characters.
- Faithful rendition of the 12th century with over 200 hand painted backgrounds.
- Three main playable protagonists, with two extra playable characters.
- Orchestral soundtrack by the FILMharmonic Orchestra, Prague.
Daedalic’s adaptation of Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth is off to a strong start with retina stroking hand drawn visuals, deepcharacters and a refreshingly grounded setting.
