  • Since the planet is made up of small islands, swimming or walking as means of travel become impossible. Hugo needs to use the glider to hop from island to island.
  • Traveling with the birds – Typhoon and storms are bound to happen in the journey, luckily, the birds are sensitive to these disasters and can migrate before they strike. Hugo is safe when traveling with the birds. Birds communicate with each other and Hugo have to recognize what their different cries and flying patterns mean.
  • Obtaining food – there are ample amounts of vegetation and fish on the planet, but Hugo needs to decide if they are edible or not. Some of them are poisonous when the others can refill the HP bar. The only hints Hugo gets are from observing the diet of the birds.
  • As a realistic survival game, materials and information that you obtain will not be provided. For example, there is no dialog box appearing on top of a plant telling you if the plant is edible or not, you need to judge them and name them according to your experience.

“In an unknown planet where birds await, a boy's adventures begins with the flapping of wings.”

This is a realistic survival adventure game about the rites of passage of a boy. It starts with an accident that occurs when a tiny space ship crashes into an alien planet. The flier of the space craft Dr. Ramanski dies in the crash, leaving his son Hugo as the sole survivor. Hugo is in the lifesaving pod during the crash and only narrowly escapes.

The pod ends up in the sea and is washed up an island safely. Although he is unscathed, the island is several thousand kilometers away from the research base of Cornelius Blue, and with his radio damaged during the crash, he cannot even get in touch with the base. To make matters worse, the crash occurred at the opposite side of the planet with respect to the research base and the scientists cannot pinpoint the exact location of the accident.

Either way, the research base launches a search party with the few members that they can spare but the results of their efforts and the survival of the boy remain uncertain.

At the end, can the boy reach the distant research base by himself with nothing but an AI support and birds by his side?
