Touhou Shinpiroku Urban Legend in Limbo

Like the few previous fighting games from TasoFro, this one also has an unique "floaty" combat system...

If you like Touhou games I suggest to get this one.

I love Touhou, I am a big fan and during the early moments into playing ULIL I felt it was comparable to a high quality browser game that got an upgrade, I was dead wrong.

Combat makes use of four main buttons: A punch, your ranged shot, a special attack, and your super attack. Every character has chain-able punches, ranged shots can be charged and have various effects at various levels of charge, special is similar to Smash Bros in that it's the Special Button and a direction to use different attacks. In addition each character has three super attacks-each with different effects and a energy cost for each-with the player picking which one you want to use prior to the battle. In addition every character has an occult attack that can be used by hitting the punch and ranged shot buttons at the same time as well as a Last Word (the strongest attack each character has) used by pressing the Super and Special buttons at the same time after obtaining four occult balls. Battles can seem chaotic at times-especially if you watch battles without understanding the controls-but it is not as bad as it seems-it's very controlled more often than not.

Overall it's a fantastic fighting game in the Touhou franchise that I highly recommend.

PS. Did you know this comes with a bonus CD? Don't know if it was a preorder bonus or only available as limited stock but yeah this game comes with a bonus CD.

I am generally not a fan of fighting games, but I am a fan of Touhou, and as far as that goes it is a very fun game. So if you are a Touhou fan, or just a fan of fighting games. Then this game is a great addition to your touhou, or fighting game collection.
