Interesting...
Tsubasa wo Kudasai is one of my favourite songs, and I was expecting a bunch of British teenagers to butcher it, but they've actually done a rather good job of capturing the essence of the song. Sure, they sing in thickly accented Japanese, but it comes across as a charm point more than anything. The B-side is unremarkable though.

The music videos are competently done, although from someone who got famous by dancing, the lack of a Dance Shot version is a bit strange.

Presentation-wise, the CD looks the part, and the costumes are great (the makeup's a bit sloppy though).

Overall, I'd say it's worth it to support the young talent that it's showcasing.

A Great Start
The Cruel Angels comprises of various YouTube dance stars from across the world, who are now singing Japanese pop songs. When you first hear of that, you're likely to think "this is going to sound terrible". Well, actually, they're not that bad!

The songs are a bubbly cover of the ever popular "Tsubasa Wo Kudasai" with main vocals provided by Beckii Cruel (stage name). If you listen closely, you may notice that some of the pronunciation is off. That's because Miss Cruel is not Japanese, and doesn't know much Japanese at all. However, overall, she's quite good at singing.

The DVD includes a music video showing the three "Angels" meeting and dancing around on a set, as well as exploring Japan. It's a bit cheesy, but it's fun to watch.

Should you buy it? Well, it's the first single from the group, and it's very catchy, so I'd recommend it to most people. Just forgive the occasional dodgy pronunciation here and there.
