Japanese required
This is a fine game, but English-speakers will be severely handicapped without some knowledge of Japanese and high school level Kanji. The menus, especially at the beginning when you set up a system file, require study and Japanese. The rest of the game can be guessed at -- little imagination is needed to recognize when you are being tutored in the basic rules, e.g. That said, I really enjoy the graphics in this version, although the Nintendo DS edition may be just slightly easier to translate.
