The Virtua Fighter franchise was birthed in the arcade, but now there's a home-console version that rivals the coin-operated experience. Designed specifically for the PlayStation 2, this installment lets you play as any of 11 classic characters or two newcomers. Long known as a brutal fighting experience that pioneered 3D hand-to-hand combat, the series takes its inspiration from the genuine techniques and traditions of the martial arts. Play against the computer or take on a friend in this high-octane challenge.

A classic fighting game whose depth knows no bounds.
Virtua Fighter 4 is raises the bar for how all home console fightings should be. The characters each have a diverse range of fighting styles and moves, and VF veterans will have to take time to master their favorite characters in addition to embracing the newcomers, Vanessa and Lei. The graphics are simply AMAZING, and the modes and game engine are extremely extensive. SEGA and AM2 really put their soul in this game and it shows. Are you ready for the ultimate fighting challenge?

Greatest Fighter ever?
I\'ve been playing this game for over a year now, and let\'s just say, it kicks some ass. Beautiful levels, excellent detail on all the characters, the game just looks amazing. I don\'t care what anyone thinks, Virtua Fighter 4 is the best looking fighter on the market. But graphics are only part of the game, it\'s the fighting system that matters and Virtua Fighter 4 delivers with an excellent in depth combat system that will take a while to master. Whether you like fighters, good graphics, or you are a fan of the Vitua Fighter series you have to pick this game up. Another great one from Sega.
