Item Description
In the summer of his high school freshman year, Hodaka runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo and quickly finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits. Bonus disc 1:Video storyboard with rare contents of Makoto Shinkai, a documentary covering the year-long production of the movie, music video of "Grand Escape feat. Toko Miura".
Bonus disc 2: Visual commentary (Kotaro Daigo x Nana Mori x RADWIMPS) and event footage.
Disc 3: Talks with Makoto Shinkai and free announcer/journalist, Yumiko Udo, and footage of Makoto Shinkai's lecture on the origins of the movie sharing rare stories on creation.
Outer case: Newly illustrated slipcase Digi-pak directed by Makoto Shinkai. Audio (1) Japanese 5.1ch DTS HD Master Audio (2) Japanese 2.0ch DTS HD Master Audio (3) English Main theme edition 5.1ch DTS HD Master Audio. Note that the outro theme "Ai Ni Dekiru Koto Wa Mada Aru Kai" is an English version. (4) Japanese audio guide 2.0ch DTS for the visually impaired.
This is a 4K Ultra HD product. Note that 4K Ultra HD can not be played in conventional Blu-ray and DVD players. You will need a recorder or player compatible with Ultra HD Blu-ray standards. Also, in order to enjoy the quality of HDR (High Dynamic Range), you will need a 4K TV or projector compatible with HDR. While this disc can be played on non-HDR 4K TVs or Hi-Vision TVs, note that it will be shown in SDR which is the conventional color gamut.
