PlayStation3 PlayStation®Vita [Beat 'em up]

Akihabara, famous for otaku culture, maid cafes and, uh, blood sucking demons? Blood sucking demons who can be killed by stripping them? Sounds just like Akihabara!

That's right - return to the streets of this famous district as an otaku caught up in a bizarre conspiracy wherein the logical option is to beat up demons, strip them naked, expose them to the sun and nervously laugh as their naked demon corpse melts away.

Sequel to the original Akiba's Trip, this Akiba's Trip 2 features over 130 real world shops and faithfully recreates Akihabara as the stage for stripping. Introducing an AI controlled partner and the new UNISON STRIP SYSTEM, Akiba's Trip 2 sounds awesome!

PlayStation®Vita Nintendo 3DS™ [JRPG]

Exstetra is an fantasy anime based traditional RPG with emphasis on love, survival, unspoken bonds and mystery. With an overall theme of "saving the world with a kiss," gameplay is based on an actual kiss ability which absorbs the powers of enemies to create Exstetra's version of special attacks: miracles. As well, kissing allows player characters to transfer power creating physical as well as emotional bonds. With respect to actual RPG battles, Exstetra is best described as turn based with a heavy inspiration from the Tales of series.

First announced in the Famitsu - May 2013 - Exstetra is a combined effort of many famous JRPG veterans. Developed by FuRyu, who created the fan favorite Unchained Blades and featuring artwork by Enami Katsumi of Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Tony Taka who helmed the Shining series, Exstetra definitely looks like a JRPG from a high pedigree. Musically, the OST is done by Yoko Shinomura - notable for his work in Kingdom Hearts and Radiant Historia - and the theme song will be produced by J-pop stars ClariS.

PlayStation®3 [Hack n' Slash]

The enhanced port of Oneechanbara Z Kagura is about to be released for the PS3! If the idea of a pair of bikini clad vampire sisters with awesome blades slicing up zombies isn't enough, and a heaping serving of fanservice doesn't stir your gamer blood, how about the inclusion of cutie pie NoNoNo from D3 Publisher's Dream Club Zero as a playable character?

Regardless, don't let the above cloud your judgement; this over the top hack n slash improves on every aspect of the Oneechanbara Series making it a solid entry with a lot of content. 3 characters, lots of ridiculous costumes, a plethora of skillsets and moves - Oneechambara Z Kagura with NoNoNo! is a welcome entry for the PS3.

Nintendo 3DS™ [JPRG]

Metal Max 4: Gekkou no Diva aka Metal Max 4: Moonlight Diva is the latest entry to a long running series featuring an insane take on a post apocalyptic world. Strange happenings in this universe has paved the way for sentient animals, surreal moving landscapes and absolute off the wall Japanese wackiness.

To highlight the weirdness, players will be able to customize their attack vehicles with an odd and robust assortment of parts. Featured in Famitsu, there have been sightings of a T-rex with tank treads, a dog with lasers, a girl who turns in to a motorbike, varied vegetable parts, and even a mammoth with a power drill for it's snout.

As well, like any fully realized JRPG, there are classes and recruitable characters with their own vehicles as well as open-world based sidequests and hunting missions.

For the Limited Edition, to add to the already overwhelming sense of customization, players will receive content worth 3000 yen ($30) featuring costumes from the previous Metal Max games as well as more monsters for the hunting missions.

PlayStation®3 Xbox360™ PC [FPS]

This series needs no introduction. Arguably the most popular contemporary FPS series, though Call of Duty makes its return to both current gen and next gen consoles, secure your position with a head start towards the path of 8th prestige with the early release of the former. Keeping the same frenetic twitch gameplay with new dynamic multiplayer maps, fans of the series will be pleased to know that in spirit, Ghosts is still COD in every respect. The biggest difference of all though - one that has invoked previous watercooler discussions, is the appearance of a dog, mocapped for your immersion and emotional investment. CALL OF DUTY!
