Weekly import game update: New titles for all major consoles including Naruto & Do Don Pachi

Even though not too many titles were released this week, there have been some nice insider titles for PlayStation2™ as well as Game Cube™ today. Here's the summary of all new releases:

Do Don Pachi Daioujou includes a complete translation of the arcade version on DVD, along with numerous other extra features. There will be something called "1/61 no Kiseki," which is either a special movie or an entirely different game. Also, an art work and movie gallery will be featured. Officially titled Do Don Pachi Daioujou DV, the game is an action-packed shooter where civilization has collapsed completely.

Do Don Pachi Daioujou is this week's hottest mover for the PlayStation2™. All preorders for this shooter will be dispatched this afternoon, new orders are welcome at US$ 59.90.

The surprisingly best mover for Game Cube™ this week is Tomy's fighting game Naruto. Naruto, which is supposed to be released tomorrow in Japan but has been stocked in limited quantities already today, is a cel-shaded beat 'em up based around the manga/anime series of the same name. Indeed great looking and worth a look for not only fans of the series.

All Naruto preorders will be dispatched this afternoon, new orders are welcome now at US$ 59.90.

Additional releases this week:

  • .hack Vol.4: Absolute Encirclement (PS2™ / RPG / Bandai)
  • Dokapon DX (Game Cube™ / RPG / Asmik Ace)
  • The Wild Rings (Xbox™ / Fighting / Microsoft)
