Weekly import update: Gungrave O.D., Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Gaiden, Double Dragon Advance & more

The first week of March has been calmer compared to the last two. Even though, quite a lot of interesting titles were released, covering all major 3 platforms.

Most interesting in this week has been Red Entertainment's comic style action shooter Gungrave O.D. (which looks indeed brilliant and features - just like the previous part - bloody anime style action), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (both titles for PS2™), Bandai/Nintendo's Custom Robo Battle Revolution (Gamecube™) as well as Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden (for Xbox™).

The most extravagant release in this week has certainly been Konami's Diet Channel. Similar as the earlier release of Aerobic Revolution, this title is suitable for all fitness freaks. Based on the Dance Dance Revolution series, the game is played with a dancing mat.

As usually, here's a summary of all new releases from this week:

For PlayStation2™:
  • Gungrave O.D.
  • Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
  • Pop'n Taisen Puzzle-Dama Online
  • Zero Shikikan Josentoki
  • Sakigake! Cromartie High School
  • Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (EA Best Hits)

    For Gamecube™:
  • Custom Robo Battle Revolution
  • Robocop

    For Xbox™:
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Ninja Gaiden [Limited Edition]

    For Gameboy Advance™:
  • Tantei Gakuen Q: Kyuukyoku no Trick ni Idome!
  • Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX
  • Double Dragon Advance
  • Oshare Wanko
  • Taiketsu! Ultra Hero

Further officially released in the US and expected to be in stock at Play-Asia within the next couple of days are the following 3 US release version titles:

  • Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution (NGC™)
  • Drakengard (PS2™)
  • Ninja Gaiden (Xbox™)

Looking forward to next week, the most interesting titles expected are Capcom's Monster Hunter (for PS2™) and of course Konami's Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (shipping as Japanese as well as US release version).

For all Neo Geo™ fans, there will be the AES home release version of The King of Fighters 2003 (which is supposed to be the second last Neo Geo™ AES cartridge ever).

Also shipping will be the soundtrack CDs King of Fighters Soundtrack 10th Anniversary Memorial Box (a 7 CD box set covering all sound tracks from the Neo Geo™ KOF games since 1994) as well as Square-Enix's Final Fantasy Song Book (a song collection from a variety of Final Fantasy music games).
