Weekly import update: Tengai Makyou III: Namida, Remote Control Dandy SF (PS2™), UMD Video/Music releases (PSP™), MGS3 Snake Eater DVD Box, Bleach, Naruto, Shing Megami toys & more

It's been an expectedly calm week with a total of 6 (+1 limited edition) PlayStation2™ releases. Two small highlights in this week have been Hudson's PC-Engine RPG remake Tengai Makyou III: Namida and Konami's robot battle action game Remote Control Dandy SF.

Apart from the actual video game releases, Sony has published its first lot of Japanese version UMD Video/Audio titles - suitable for Japanese version PSP™ consoles only. An initial batch (with Spider-Man 2 and BioHazard II Apocalypse majorly demanded) has started shipping on Tuesday. More copies will be in tomorrow as well as throughout the next week.

Further highlights from this week include Konami's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - Official DVD: The Extreme Box plus a variety of interesting toys (Naruto, Bleach, Neon Genesis Evangelion & Shin Megami Tensei related) and video game soundtracks.

Pre-summarizing highlights, Sony platform releases include Capcom's horror adventure Demento and Square-Enix's Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song (as Japanese and Asian version) for PS2™ as well as the horse racing simulation Derby Time and Genki's racer Shutokou Battle: Zone of Control for PSP™. With Hellboy, another Japanese version UMD movie is also on schedule.

For Nintendo's platforms we are expecting Fire Emblem: Path of the Blue Flame (aka. Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki) for Gamecube™, Konami's Ganbare! Goemon 1 & 2 and Capcom's RockMan Zero 4 (for GBA™) as well as Tomy's Naruto: Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu 3 for DS and Nintendogs (as Dachs & Friends, Chihuahua & Friends and Shiba & Friends versions) for Nintendo DS™.

Further, the second round of colored Nintendo DS™ consoles will be released. This time it's Candy Pink and Turquoise Blue that will make your friends envy you.
