Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is the fifth installment of the frenetically paced Guilty Gear series, and while keeping in line with the series' signature 2D anime style artwork, cel shaded graphics have now replaced the traditional hand drawn sprites resulting in what some call playable animation. The end product is a fluid and brilliant visual experience, with dynamic camera movement where characters burst to life on screen in tandem with frenzied particle effects from a multitude of special moves and fighting mechanics.
Playable characters total at 16 at this moment; fans will immediately recognize Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, Millia Rage, May, Chipp Zanuff, Potemkin, Venom, Axl Low, I-No, Faust, Slayer, and Zato-1. As well, Sin from Overture and Elphelt - a new character to the series, as well as boss character Ramlethal Valentine join the roster of playable characters!

PlayStation®3 [Action Adventure]
Assassin's Creed: Rogue takes place during the Seven Years War, a conflict between France and England during the 18th century, and acts as a sequel to Black Flag and a prequel to ACIII, with the final stages of the game acting as a prologue for Unity. A little confusing, yes.
In a lot of ways Rogue is a way for the AC developers to bring back the incredibly well-received naval mechanics from Black Flag. The protagonist Shay Patrick Cormac captains the ship Morrigan, and has even more maritime mechanics available to him than his predecessor.
New features include ship-based weapons such as releasing an oil slick which can then be ignited, Puckle guns (oldschool revolver turrets), and the ability for enemies to board during ship-to-ship combat. The game also features non-naval additions like the use of poisonous gas as a weapon, and improved hand-to-hand combat (think Batman: Arkham series).

1) While most games with morality deal with clear cut choices and prompts, Metro's is much more sophisticated with it's Karma system.
In both games, this subtle approach is based on how a player makes decisions - saving prisoners or compassionately listening to a conversation of the downtrodden? Good karma. Stealing or just doing things morally questionable? Bad karma. In the end, all and every decision will result in the out come of one of many endings, making Metro a game to be experienced over and over.
2) In both games, a lot of focus is put on the traversal between dangerous environments, namely the underground and the surface world. In the underground, a permeating sense of survival horror exists as players are thrust into the murky darkness with only a lighter (night vision if they're lucky), a compass, and a gas mask. For the latter, this is a finite resource, so wandering into an area unprepared is extremely haphazard.
This comes even more to play when players venture to the surface, as radiation and poisonous fumes makes a mask mandatory - there are so many tense moments where one is being chased by hordes of mutants only to have their gas mask break or have the filter run out; to survive, one must think fast and decide whether to push on with what supplies they have or retreat and search for alternative paths to reach their current objective. No imagine that you're lost, in the dark, and gasping for air! TENSE.

Nintendo 3DS™ [Rogue-like / Dungeon RPG]
If you are unfamiliar with the Mystery Dungeon series the basic formula is adding the characters from a popular franchise into a game built around exploring a dungeon with randomly generated layouts and fighting other characters via turn-based combat. Every time players perform an action such as attacking or walking, the opponents will also take action.
10 different classes are available in Etrian Mystery Dungeon, each taken from the Etrian Odyssey universe to fit into your standard RPG roles. Players will be able to enter dungeons with four different classes.
The newest addition to the roster is the 'Furai', or 'Wanderer' class which looks like it is heavily influenced by Shiren The Wanderer, an original character from the Mystery Dungeon series. The rest of the classes hail from past EO titles.

Nintendo 3DS™ [Action]
Humans, in a quest to expand their reach into the unknown darkness of space, have set the planet Mars as their target. If colonization is to succeed, humanity will reach a new zeitgeist, taking one step closer to the heavens that have forever looked down on this insignificant species.
In order to prepare Mars for the eventual exodus, and in their earnest preparation using the greatest of minds, mankind has unwillingly designed a great folly, despite the genius of this plan.
By sending the most resilient of all of Earth's species first, Mars becomes finally habitable through the slow influence of the common roach, yet when the time came for mankind to claim their new home, they were not prepared for what they saw - these terraformers had transformed at a frightening pace into humanoid roaches with a frightful intelligence - a perverse possibility of evolution, and man's biggest threat.
Terra Formars: Akaki Hoshi No Gekitou (Fierce Battle on the Crimson Planet) is a battle action game developed by Furyu, and puts gamers into an impossible situation. By controlling several members of Earth's brightest - genetically modified and empowered with primordial DNA, this title based on the popular manga series brings high action into a unique world.

Nintendo DS™ [Action RPG]
Fraternal twins Yuri and Chelinka live happily with their father in a small village, but their happiness comes to an abrupt end with the arrival of an ancient evil. Now, with his family shattered, Yuri begins to train so that he will be strong enough to fight when the evil returns. Armed only with their determination, courage, and Chelinka’s magic crystal, these brave twins set out on their quest to find their lost friends, avenge their family, and heal their world.
The gameplay is party-based, with the player starting off with only Yuri in their party with other characters joining as the game progresses. The player can switch between party members by touching their icon on the lower screen. Battles are in real time, with a basic hack-and-slash overhead view format. Enemies spawn in preset places as the player explores areas. There is also a puzzle-solving element within the game, with the player needing to figure how to unlock the other areas by activating interacting with the map.
