PlayStation®3 [Action]

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. Full Boost is the sequel to the fan favorite Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS.  Like it's predecessor, this arcade based Gundam-on-Gundam fighting game blazes past the competition with increased features and epic battles akin to the Gundam Extreme series. As a port of the arcade version, expect additional units exclusive to the PS3.

Gameplay revolves around strategically choosing a squad and sending them into battle; there are many Gundams to choose from, from vague one shot characters to famous flagship mechas from almost every series. In battle, there is the standard arcade mode faithfully representing it's source material as well as an amalgam of extra missions and content. Actual gameplay changes are the introduction of 2 important additions: the Extreme Action where players have the ability to dash-cancel attacks for chaining complex combos and the Extreme Burst, a super mode reminiscent of the original's Awakening mode. During the Extreme Burst, an ultimate attack called the Burst Attack can be used, and each mobile suit has two types of this attack to choose from.

Keep in mind, the above item has a slightly longer estimated shipping time than usual Weekly Special products.

The Earth Federation is building their own regiment in the Aidoneus islands. A massive war is on the horizon, and unless somebody takes action the world stands to be ripped apart. Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Original Generations is the most spectacular addition in the Super Robot Taisen series yet, showing off beautiful HD 2D sprites fighting across 3D backgrounds. The game inherits, and then greatly improves upon the gameplay system used in the previous generations of Super Robot Wars!

One of the first changes to look out for is the introduction of the 'Maximum Break' mechanic, which allows 4 units to simultaneously attack a single enemy. The other is the ability slot system, where each pilot and mech gets three ability slots. That means that Twin Units will have a total of twelve slots! That's a lot of firepower in one attack...

Dai-2-Ji introduces a lot of new characters and mechas to the franchise, many of which were designed specifically for the game! This classic game comes highly recommended by the strategy/tactics fans here at Play-Asia.com!

Veterans and newcomers will be assaulted by new challenges adding to the experience – enemy AI has been completely improved with reactive and adaptive tactics tailored to give grief to the player, boss fights forgo any sense of predictability, and new environmental traps are engineered for many a frustrating return post death.

Dark Souls II continues in the series approach towards a pseudo-online experience, but different from it's predecessors are the new dedicated servers. For serious PvP Dark Souls players, this perhaps is the biggest change; no longer are lagging back-stabs an issue.

Also, in support of this change, the “Humanity” mechanic has been changed to “encourage” online play – there are punishments for constantly playing offline, but easier means to the online features, such as message leaving, finding jolly-cooperation, summoning and covenant features.

Tales of Innocence expands from the 3DS version, that many fans know and love, onto the PSVita with a big graphics overhaul, two new playable characters (as well as new artwork), new gameplay elements, re-imagined scenarios and areas, as well as the introduction of many new anime-style cut scenes to aid the storytelling.

The new game uses the 'DILM' battle system that reflects the gamer's style and skills directly. Stringing combos together and fighting has become much more intuitive. The game also revamps the AI system: instead of just basic commands, players can now assign AI characters five specific commands, each with its own priority level. Players can create and switch between five different AI combos to fit different situations - adding a lot more depth to the combat and strategy.

Some of the new gameplay changes specific to the PSVita version include the "Rave System", where each time the character successfully hits the enemy it fills their 'Rave Gauge'. The Rave Gauge has four levels, and each level has a corresponding Rave Ability that is activated for each level. Players can customize which ability goes to which level and these abilities are purchased from the Grade Shop using 'Grade Points'. At the highest most level it allows players to activate several Rave Abilities simultaneously to attack the enemy in combat.

Get as close to the anime as possible! Jump directly into the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny storylines and become the determining factor in many of the key conflicts. The game begins with a pilot and assistant creation, but other familiar faces can be selected as well.

Fans of the storyline itself are ideal players of this game, as a lot of the pleasure is derived from being submerged in the familiar story. The music and sound effects are created to perfectly enhance the story, exactly what a fan would want and expect. Studio Artdink have come out of the gates looking to impress, creating a near-identical feel to the show itself. The move to Vita only helps the graphics, as it was easily the best-looking of the Gundam Battle games of the time.

Take part in the epic events that shape the Mobile Suit Gundam universe!
