PlayStation®4 [Survival Horror]
A sequel to immensely popular Resident Evil: Revelations (which on it's own garnered enough popularity to get a console release post handheld debut), Revelations 2 was formally announced at TGS 2014, but only in the form of digital episodic downloads promising intense and unforgettable cliffhangers.
Trapped in a derelict prison on a mysterious island filled with grotesque creatures and other unknown horrors, fan favorite Claire Redfield finally returns in a starring role; supporting her is Moira Burton, daughter of the RE legend Barry Burton, who is also a playable character.
There is also the return of the popular raid mode, an arcade-like experience focused on quick wits and destructive combat. Hunk and Albert Wesker are both included as Raid Mode characters, as well as the Throwback Map Pack.
Finally, while survival horror games place a lot of weight on tension of the unknown, when a threat does reveal itself, it must be terrifying; introducing a brand new type of enemy known as the "Afflicted," these monstrosities adapt, charge, and even exhibit intelligence making every encounter a possible last.

PlayStation®4 XboxONE™ [Action RPG]
In the first week after it's Japanese only release, Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSP enjoyed phenomenol success; by the end of the year, it out sold Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (PSP), Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3), and even Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, making it the best selling PSP title of 2011.
With near perfect scores from Famitsu (39 out of 40) and Dengeki Magazine (91.25 out of 100) this was the game that all Final Fantasy fans needed, but only those with import inclinations and the ability to read Japanese could access.
Now, after a long time of waiting, pleading, and begging to Square Enix, our patience has been rewarded with an HD Version of the game that got away, available for both XB1 and PS4 this week!

Alien: Isolation features few Aliens throughout its duration requiring the player to go unnoticed in order to survive being hunted. That doesn't mean there is no shooting, you will encounter humans and androids to get your FPS fill but it should not consume the gameplay. In fact, increasing your light or sound makes it all the easier to be found.
All that said the most exciting aspect of the game is the Alien and it's AI, and how it will track down our protagonist. Both you and the Alien will have ways to thwart each other through the non-linear level (reportedly featuring multiple exit and entry points) but the developer's goal is to make you feel like the AI is tracking you, learning from you, and toying with you. If that isn't unnerving enough, you will be unable to track the Alien's specific location and have no information at all if the Alien is not moving.
Adding to the immersion, the game will feature no on-screen HUD forcing you to inhibit your attention while using your inventory items to gather information. The developers even go so far as to introduce a depth-of-field effect making it impossible to see the Alien's location and what is in front of you at the same time. Alien: Isolation also features a crafting system allowing the player to create weapons and tools to defend themselves. The items used for crafting appear in randomized locations throughout the levels, forcing players to explore in order to find them on each playthrough instead of memorizing their locations.
Nostromo Edition includes the bonus content "Crew Expendable". Players can choose to play as one of three surviving crewmembers (Ellen Ripley, Dallas or Parker).

Similar to the previous games in the series, Smash will have up to four players controlling various Nintendo characters to fight against each other. Super Smash Bros. will feature online multiplayer gameplay with two different modes: 'For Fun' and 'For Glory'. The modes are titular in nature: 'For Fun' all stages are picked randomly and all items and power-ups are available except for the Final Destination Stage. 'For Glory' only features the Final Destination stage variations and will only offer 1v1 battles.
In Addition, rather having an online leader board system, an entirely new type of ranking system will be put into effect called 'Global Smash Power'. This system will be used to determine the player's score, which in turn is used to find out how strong the player is relative to the rest of the world!

If you've looked into this game then you'll know that a ton of different character combos and strategic formations where you will have the opportunity to control large group vs group battles - which is perfect for a SRPG! While Natural Doctrine lets players change the difficulty level at any time, if any of your characters fall in battle it is game over. And you are definitely going to die, a lot. If you are after a game with a huge focus on mechanics, strategic gameplay, and random capital letters - do yourself a favor and grab the game on deal!
Fans of the genre will notice that the title screenshots and videos evoke comparisons to Valkryia Chronicles and other similar games, sharing many gameplay and UI similarities. Battle takes place on a grided map, but unlike other titles that use a similar system, characters can actually stack on a single grid box thus 'linking' the characters and combining their strengths. Mastering the game requires decent understanding of the various nuances, for example knowing who, where, and when to link your characters and, perhaps more importantly, what your linked characters are capable of are just a few key examples of a single aspect of the game.
There are 5 listed characters, each with their own specialties (they fit fairly well into traditional RPG class roles) but don't assume NAtURAL DOCtRINE has a rigid class system! Any character in your party can be re-specced, changing their skills and strengths to fit a certain situation. Some encounters may need more tanks and mages - but you can always go against the grain with your own strategies, something that has made these types of games really enjoyable. In combat you can change your view between Third Person, Birds Eye (aerial shot of the battlefield), and an 'over the shoulder' view with limited zoom.

PlayStation®4 [Action Adventure]
The game is the fifth title developed by Crystal Dynamic for the Tomb Raider Franchise and is a reboot that emphasizes the remodeled origins of Lara. A stunningly realistic graphical improvement, intense game play innovations and a lot of hard core action will be coming to next generation console as Tomb Raider Definitive Edition makes its way back to the limelight.
Join Lara as she tries to escape and scours a hostile island known as Yamatai in search of her abducted friends. Survive malevolent cults, brutes and betrayals while trying to escape this island of evil. Action-adventure, exploration and survival mechanics are very well combined with the game’s interconnected hub-and-spoke model allowing players to make the most of Lara’s action-packed adventures.
For the very first time ever in the Tomb Raider Series, a multiplayer option will be available. Players can compete with each other in several multiplayer maps in these three types of multiplayer modes which includes; Team Death Match is a simple person vs. person combat scenario. Private Rescue is a time limited mode in which certain class of teams are assigned to accomplished specific tasks. And lastly the Cry for Help mode in which a team needs to accomplished a task and survive being hunted by the others. In all three modes, destroyable environment and acquired weapons can be carried over from the single player campaign.
