WEEKLY SPECIAL: Saints Row IV: Re-Elected + GOOH, DOA 5: Last Round, Radiant Historia + MORE!

PlayStation®4 [Action Adventure]

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected + Gat Out of Hell is so much more than a game. It’s a passport to fun and whimsy.

Leap over buildings, sing songs, fight in a 2D side-scroller, cure cancer, save Santa Claus… all this and more awaits you when you play Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, a special bundle that includes the award-winning blockbuster Saints Row IV and all the wonderful DLC.

"Saints Row IV? I’ve never heard of it, what is it about?" Oh my friend, I’m so glad you asked. After saving the world from a terrorist attack the leader of the 3rd Street Saints is elected to become President of the United States. Things go reasonably well for The President until an alien warlord named Zinyak attacks the white house and abducts his entire cabinet. Now stuck inside a reality bending simulation, the President and the Saints fight to save themselves, Earth, and the entire galaxy… It is as fun as it is insane.

The definitive version of Dead or Alive 5 is now on Weekly Special, along with the insane number of characters, extravagant number of costumes, play-modes and the always-controversial breasts.

As an incredibly approachable fighting franchise Dead or Alive keeps things simple. Instead of going the route of elaborate stick movements the focus is on stringing your limited available attacks together with an emphasis on speed and precision, with complexity coming in the form of positioning.

The game's story is laid out on a timeline, allowing players to jump in and out of relevant chapters as the various characters enter 1-on-1 matches on their way to the DOA tournament.

The next generation consoles only help the game with beautiful animations, 60FPS, and eye-catching models.

Lumines is a love-letter to electronic music and puzzle games in PSVita game form.  Producer James Mielke puts their intentions very well: "...The soundtrack is designed to rise and fall like waves, giving the player both rhythm and respite, which would feel like a musical journey."

With 34 licensed songs on the cart, Lumines features some of the best and brightest names in electronic music with tracsk from The Chemical Brothers, Mark Ronson, Underworld, LCD Soundsystem, and more to look out for.

The Lumines gameplay basics have players rotate falling squares, made up of four small blocks, so that blocks of the same color join to form shapes measuring at least two by two. Electronic Symphony utilizes the features of the PlayStation Vita such as the touch pad on the back, while keeping classic controls already known in the first Lumines on the front.

From the developers of Rune Factory comes a game that puts players in charge of an inn with no guests, and a cast of chibi spirits and characters that help you manage it!

The hero of Forbidden Magna is Lux, a young man who heads an inn that has yet to see a customer for ages. One day, he runs into a mysterious girl named Charlotte, who lost her memory but holds extraordinary strength. As Lux spends time with Charlotte, the world shakes as an important truth is brought to light...

While you are at the inn, players can enjoy communal life with the spirits. Together, you can manage the guest-less inn and deepen your bonds with the spirits!

The game uses the 'Connect Lead Time' system, a turn-based battle system that integrates action game-like control, and combines strategy and exhilaration. What this means is that during both enemy and allied turns the game will play like an action game. During battles, you can take a spirit of your choice with you.

Dragon Quest gets the Theatrhythm treatment and features more than 60 songs selected from Dragon Quest I to X, all composed by Koichi Sugiyama! There are three game modes that players can dive into: challenge mode, music-play and Casino. While songs can be unlocked in challenge mode, playable characters are unlocked via the Casino.

There are many similarities between Theatrythm Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest but also quite a few differences (outside of the obvious). An example of this is that battle songs in Theatrhythm Dragon Quest have notes coming from top to bottom, rather than from left to right like they did in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

Theatrhythm DQ opens itself to more RPG elements as well, increasing the fun for those who want to strategize and focus on their party and skill selection a bit more. Clearing a song and a boss can rely on two different things, e.g. execution of the song and your character specs.

Overall Theatrythm checks all the nostalgia boxes while doing justice to the the bright and vibrant world of DQ!
