Works great, if its what you need
The Anon review posted here is right, except that this cable still works with the US version of the Wii.
And for me, it was exactly what I needed.
My new TV only supports a Hi-Def signal through it\'s D-Terminal. My TV didn\'t support 480p over the Component inputs - the TV barfed on the image. It was a great deal, but had I known this annoyance beforehand, I might have passed on it. Oh well... at least I could import the cables I\'d need with the money I saved...
Finding a Component-to-D4 adapter has been a pain in the behind.
But now that I have this, my Wii plays nice with my TV, doing the Progressive Scan magic very nicely. The picture quality is much improved over 480i.

Do not confuse this for a D-Sub VGA cable.
This is a Japan only HD cable, doesn\'t work on UK or US tv\'s. In order to use this on a TV with VGA you will need to get a converter of some sort.
