Excellent wireless controller
This is by far the best wireless controller I\'ve found for the PS2. The previous version of the Wireless Anashin pad wasn\'t bad, but the dpad (at least on the ones I tried) wasn\'t terribly good, and having to power it with 3 batteries was a pain.

This newer version has a much improved dpad (easily better than the one on the standard PS2 pad), and only requires 2 AA batteries. Battery life seems much improved, too. This is helped by the neat auto-off feature of the pad (it turns on and connects automatically when you start using it, then turns off if you leave it for a few minutes). The wireless functionality works well, with no dropouts nor any lag, as far as I can tell.

The pad is comfortable to hold, if a bit bulkier than the standard pad. The array of switches on the front do mean that the start and select buttons are in a slightly awkward position, but it\'s generally fine. I\'m not overly keen on the smaller analogue sticks, but they\'re okay once you\'re used to them. Build quality is high, as you\'d expect from Hori.

I would recommend getting the black or red version of the pad over the white. It\'s not clear from the pictures, but the white version has a kind of pink/purple sheen to it, which doesn\'t look particularly nice.

Overall, though, this is an excellent pad, and is a great wireless replacement for the standard PS2 pad.
