An excellent addition to the series
Having played the more recent entries of Ys series, I must say I am quite pleased with how MoC turned out.
Memories of Celceta definitely has the best characters in the series so far, whose interactions are guaranteed to amuse the players to no end. Plus, the dialogue trees give Adol some depth to his character.
In addition, there are tons of things to do, making this game feels huge despite having only 30 hours or so in total. Since it is impossible to complete everything on the first run, this makes the next playthrough very worth it.
Battles are more challenging compared to Seven, albeit nowhere as hard as pre-Seven games when it comes to bosses. They are generally easy to read, but at the same time are able to wipe out the entire party with just a little carelessness!
Sadly, I found the music less memorable than previous entries' music, but nonetheless they are awesome and fit every situation well.
Overall, is it worthy addition to the series? Yes it is. Both old and new fans alike should be able to enjoy this.

Great entry to the long running series of Ys!
Ys never fails to disappoint with its excellent music, and gameplay that is refined with every entry of the series. Each title is just a chapter of the adventures of our red haired protagonist Adol and can be played without much prior knowledge of the series in pretty much any order (for the most part) Celceta manages to improve upon Seven's party combat system and offers a more JRPG style gameplay and progression compared to the older entries in the series (with the exception of Seven).

Grab it.
Great Act RPG for Vita so far.
If you have PSV and want act-RPG. This is the best one.

Takes the Ys Seven formula...
...refines it, and ups the dosage. Expect harder music, streamlined gameplay and the same fantastic balance of adventure and tough boss battles. The best action RPG I've ever played to date, rivaled only by - you guessed it - other Ys titles.
The packaging and bonuses in the Silver Anniversary Box are icing on the cake. Adol's Journal is a great blend of world-building lore and a traditional game guide, the bonus sampler soundtrack has a nice selection of tracks, and hell, any game that includes a cloth map these days gets brownie points from me. :>
