Adol awakens shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. There, he and the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues from a village to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the isolated island. Amidst this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world. Previously released downloadable content for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be included in the Switch version as bonus content with no download or purchase necessary. Items for all characters include Deserted Pirate Costume, Hug Hug Pals: Feena, Lilia, and Dark, Stylish Glasses (x6), and Ancient Masks (x6). Tropic Swimwear is an Item for Adol, Laxia, Ricotta, and Dana. Eternian Scholar Costume is an item for Laxia. Amazing JRPG
Ive played the older Y's games, but i can ensure you will enjoy this game even if you havent played any of them, this game has a really good story and the mechanics are easy to understand and the controls are simple.
You can ensure you will be able to play the way you want, if you dont like doing quests, you will be able to skip most of it and enjoy the story, but if you like to explore and visite every place and see the small stories you will be able to do it, you can even challenge yourself going against high level enemies if you want, it's a very satisfying game with great game play and story.

Amazing RPG!!!
I'm loving it so far! The gameplay is really fun!
The game mechanics are simple and not over-complicated like some modern RPGs.
I really like how well tuned the menus and navigation systems are. It really encourages exploration and makes everything quick and accessible.
The soundtrack sounds amazing, really energetic stuff.
A must-have for any Switch owner.

t is good to play with full graphics in portative mode.
