Hello, Neighbor is not your traditional horror video games about a supernatural entity that is responsible for physical disturbances nor vampires and zombies that will suck up your blood and eat up your flesh. Hello, Neighbor is a Stealth Horror Game about sneaking into your neighbor’s home. You take the role of a resident who moves into a brand new suburb. One day, you notice some weird things happening in your neighbor that really bothers you. Finally, you found out that he is hiding something in his basement. The only rational thing you can do is to break into his house and figure out the secrets he’s been hiding.
The enemy of the game is a Neighbor with an advanced AI. You have to be very keen on your actions as it learns from your every move. The AI gathers all the information about your behaviors, decisions, movements etc. Having examined it, the AI comes up with counter-actions, traps and unique tactics against you. The more activities you make, the more experienced the Neighbor becomes.

The sneaking out to the Neighbor’s house begins by entering the door to the basement, but it won’t be simple. Remember, it can easily adapt to your playstyle. As you investigate around the house seeking for traces about your neighbor, he’s doing the same to you. Knowing the capability of the Neighbor, it can be really tough for you on how you are going to make your own technique to climb all the way down to his basement without getting caught. The Neighbor can board up smashed windows, set bear traps in areas in you frequently visit, place cameras to areas where the bear traps just don’t work, or block doors with chairs to limit your attempts to visit rooms.
In this game, you are free to do all the things you can think of that can lure the neighbor. You can distract him by throwing items, that can draw him to that location. You can also try ringing the doorbell or breaking a window. During a chase, the Neighbor would throw bear traps to trap you, and tomatoes which would tint your screen red for a few seconds and conceal your vision.
Do not let the Neighbor burry you alive. Plan your most effective way to reach his basement and unveil the secret behind that mysterious house.
