The German video game developer, Kalypso Media, brings the train sim tycoon to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Railway Empire will launch on January 26 in Europe and January 30 in US Continent. This game is now available for pre-orders.

Let’s travel back to the 1830s American Industrial Revolution! This game brings back to the era where America progresses to the use of machinery and steam power. It gives you a historical background of steam locomotives, especially in the US. This makes you a business tycoon where you build train stations, routes and of course manage your workforce and your passengers.

Lead your empire in acquiring the 40 different trains and more than 300 various technologies. Players can adapt the new business elements to the new technology. Also, lead your empire to build factories, buildings and provide tourist attractions. Of course, don’t forget there’s always a competition everywhere. You must sabotage your AI rivals! Use some bandits and spies to waste their efforts and be a successful tycoon around.

This game offers campaign mode and single missions as they must complete specific goals. Players can also choose the free mode. Free mode allows expanding the railway business without any goals imposed on the players.
