Minecraft: Story Mode (MCSM) is an episodic point-and-click graphic adventure developed and published by Telltale Games in cooperation with the Swedish video game developer, Mojang. The game franchise currently has 13 episodes in three episode packs namely: Season Pass, Adventure Pass, and now, Season 2.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 – The Telltale Series is the latest installment in the franchise and is scheduled to launch in the first Quarter of this year for the Japan Version designed for the PlayStation 4 Systems. Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 follows the episodic format that Telltale Games popularized for titles such as The Walking Dead and Batman: The Telltale Series.

Minecraft Story Mode Season Two may be a sequel, but it is not necessary for you to have a full understanding of the previous season or even to its predecessor, Minecraft. Here in Season 2, everyone is back for more blocky escapades especially the game main protagonist, Jesse. And by the way, to those who are not familiar with Jesse, Jesse can be a male or a female depending on your preference. So, basically, Jesse is the hero of the last Season, together with his friends.

Last time, you and your friends, Axel, Olivia, Petra, and Lukas have defeated the Wither Storm, saved the world from serious danger, and become totally super famous heroes.

You are in full-on hero mode indulging in the love and warmth of Beacon Town citizens whose lives you defended. Your town now oversees you as Hero-In-Residence. While on the other hand, Axel and Olivia run the Boom Town, Petra is making herself busy traveling, and Lukas is deeply focused on his writing career. All of you now have different priorities.

One day, you are currently thinking about your friends when suddenly, Petra arrives and invites you on an adventure. But, just like any good adventures, your trip goes haywire. Things started to mess up when you visit the mines to assist Petra on her mission to find a mysterious creature.

One thing leads to another, and suddenly, a weird glowing gauntlet is already stuck up in your one hand. Naturally, things intensify as mystical artifacts and undiscovered dark powers come into your way. And now, a brand new adventure begins together with your old pals and new companions to start up a team of new heroes to save Beacon Town, and the world from an absolute end.
