Fans of retro Nintendo games and Manga, have we got some special news for you! Nintendo surprised us with the announcement of their upcoming Classic video game console. Firstly yes, it is another Mini Famicom, BUT this time, it is tinted with a Red and Gold blush and will be known as the Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Shonen Jump Version.
If you’re wondering what the “Shonen Jump ” part of the console’s name is supposed to mean then chances are you don’t watch much anime. Simply put, Shonen Jump Magazine is home to some of the most popular Japanese comics, including Dragon Ball, One Piece, Fist of the North Star, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and My Hero Academia. Nintendo will bring out this special edition console to celebrate Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine’s 50th Anniversary.
Nintendo revealed the new console in this year’s 24th issue of the best-selling manga magazine. You can see the scanned image of the magazine showing the page of Nintendo’s revelation about the console below.
