What is a labyrinth? Here’s a brief background of the word. In Greek mythology, the labyrinth is a confusing structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete. He built the labyrinth to hold the Minotaur inside. However, Daedalus cannot escape the labyrinth after he built it. Labyrinth is synonymous with the maze. But after a long history of representation of the labyrinth, the maze refers to a complex branching of a puzzle with choices of path and direction. Meanwhile, the labyrinth has only a single path to the center. There’s no navigational challenge inside the labyrinth.
Now, let’s go to the Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk itself! The game sets in the mysterious town of Refrain. Deep beneath in this forsaken town, there is an unexplored underground labyrinth. Nobody knows the history of this labyrinth, like who built in or when it was built. Some people say that it holds treasures that are powerful to the world, treasures that make a person an immortal, and a demon king could end the world in one snap. People know that the labyrinth is filled with cursed miasma. This is a substance that brings death to the human once it touches. A brave witch arrives at the Refrain to explore the labyrinth. She has the possession of a legendary book. In this book, the only man who explores and survives the labyrinth wrote it.

Gameplay
For the gameplay, you walk through the dungeon using the first-person view. It allows you to navigate in fixed increments. While you are on the journey, there are random encounters with monsters. Because you are a book in this game, Dronya will create puppet soldiers that do the fighting for the player. You give orders to your army and crush your foes with the special skill you possess. Build an army that is undefeatable. Assign them with its specialized squad to make your unique force.
