Snaaaaake! Snaaaaake! Metal Gear Solid turns 20! Happy La-Li-Lu-Le-birthday!

20 years ago to this day, Hideo Kojima revolutionized storytelling by introducing us to the world of tactical espionage action. Well, at least that’s what he called it. Nevertheless, MGS was phenomenal in that it created a cinematic gaming experience that tested the limits of the PlayStation. And although it might not have been the first part in the series, it was its gateway game for many of us. This milestone was followed by #missingsnake part 2, #longladder part 3, #morecutscenethangame part 4 and #levelmissing part 5, plus loads of spinoffs.

To celebrate 20 years of La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo, we feature here what we have available from the franchise and set special anniversary prices where possible. Especially Harry Gregson-Williams’ and Norihiko Hibino’s scores are a must-have!
