In celebration of Hatsune Miku’s 11th Anniversary, Sega is pleased to announce that a free distribution for the Version 1.02 update for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX and Version 1.07 for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will be launched on September 27.
This update introduces players to a more challenging arcade-style rhythm game. More so, a new high-difficulty musical score (Extra Extreme) is added to the 10 songs in the game to test your skills.
The “Extra Extreme” difficulty will be added to the following songs:
Are you up for this “Extra Extreme” test? Wait for the update until its release on September 27 and take on the challenge!
In addition, the Extra Extreme clear percent calculation system in the records and rankings has been modified. The number of songs added in the update will now be incorporated in the total number of songs used to calculate the clear percent. Furthermore, the update fixes other bugs in the game and will include function stability enhancements. Thanks, Gematsu.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Future Tone includes 238 songs and 396 costumes, which you can call it as “Hatsune Miku” series Juke Box. Besides the usual play mode, it has new mode “Practice” in which you can practice the songs. During the song selection, choose the “practice start” and you can play repeatedly the part you want to practice. Also, there’s “Hair customize mode”, which you can change the hairstyle arranging with your favorite costumes. You can enjoy the characters customize in wide range! The Sega’s highly qualified playfield from「AM2研」the creators or “Virtua Fighter” and “Hatsune Miku”, there’s many customized modes and varieties for veterans to absorb, and also gentle for newcomers.
