Koei Tecmo Holdings‘ division, Gust, has announced the Atelier Arland Trilogy, Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland DX, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland DX, and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in a Dengeki Online live stream presentation last July.

Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland DX
The first game in the Arland Trilogy is Atelier Rorona. The game made its debut in 2009 for the PlayStation 3. After four years, a “Plus” version of the game entitled, Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland was released in Japan for the PS3 and PS VITA as a remake. It was then followed by its own remake for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015.
And now, Atelier Rorona is ready for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch! You can check out the screenshots below and its synopsis.

In the early days, people used to depend on the alchemist shop at the heritage site to provide services for them. However, since the machines were discovered, everything is now automated. With this in mind, the alchemist shop no longer gets customers. And to make the situation worse, the current storekeeper is so lazy that he cannot make his shop stay afloat.
As a result, the shop lost all the customers. To protect her home, Rorona, one of the last assistants of the shop, get into action to revive the shop.
Complete quests set by the royalty, authorities, and friends and prove that your services will be missed if your shop is no longer in business. Travel the land, meet all the fascinating people and discover your own happily ever after.
Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland DX
Furthermore, Atelier Totori, the second game in the trilogy, originally released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2010. And the “Plus” version of the game called, Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland was released in Japan for the PS VITA in 2012.

Atelier Totori is a sequel to Atelier Rorona. The story of the game takes place 10 years after the original game takes place. The game will take you to the Arland Republic. It is a fantasy world full of monsters, knights, alchemists, and adventure.
An adventurer is a glorious profession in this land, and a lot of teenagers grew up dreaming to become one, this includes Totori and Shino. Yet, unlike other teenagers, Totori has a different reason to become an adventurer; she has to find her mother, who went missing during one of the numerous deadly missions.
Train under Roronoa, learn about item synthesis, go on dauntless adventures with your friends and discover traces on Totori’s mother’s disappearance.
Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland DX
The last game in the series, Atelier Meruru, was published for the PlayStation 3 in 2011 in Japan. And the PS VITA enhanced port of the game entitled, Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland was released in 2013 in Japan.
And, the trilogy wouldn’t be complete if Atelier Meruru wouldn’t be ported out to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Coming out tomorrow! Enjoy its screenshots and story below.

Meruru is the princess of a little kingdom named, Arus. It is situated in the far north of the Arland Republic. When her father and the grand duke of Gio discussed the merging of the two lands, she met Totori, the now-graduated alchemist.
Surprised by the power of Totori’s alchemy, and with the urge to help her country prosper, she came under Totori as her first student. Get recipes from the shops and from the books, then embark on a journey to the forests and unexplored areas in search for materials.
As you progress, you will meet significant characters that you must recruit into your team. The colors, the fairytale atmosphere, and the girls are back, here in Atelier Meruru. Join Meruru on her adventures!
