Mega Man 11

Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®4, Xbox™One Ι Genre: Robo-platformer

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

Elaborated in 1942 by Isaac Asimov, the Three Laws of Robotics are not only a fictional code of conduct for sentient artificial machines, but they’re also a sort of bible for the ethics of artificial intelligence field of study and an inspiration for many movies, books, and video games in which there’s a relevant presence of androids. For example, the Laws are present in movies like Alien or RoboCop; while if we talk of our main passion we can find it in titles such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Halo, and obviously the whole Mega Man series. With more than 50 chapters to his name; the Blue Bomber is without any doubt one of the most beloved pop-icons ever appeared in the gaming industry.

Built by the brilliant scientist Dr. Thomas Light in 1987, Mega Man (a.k.a. Rockman in Japan) is an ever-growing robot which mission is to keep the peace on Earth both for humans and machines which is constantly undermined by the mad mastermind Dr. Albert W. Wily; a former colleague of Dr. Light who aim to conquer the world using his personal army of highly-advanced machines. In more than 30 years of never-stopping battles, Mega Man faced thousands of enemies not only in his main series but also in cartoons, comic books, and special crossovers like Marvel vs. Capcom, Project X Zone, and even Super Robot Wars X -Ω. Heavily inspired by the anime classic Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy), finally, he’s ready to return on duty with Mega Man 11 for Switch, PS4, and XB1!

Again Dr. Wily has planned to conquer the world slaving the whole robotic communities distributed widely around the world, but this time to fulfill his desire he has developed a new device called Double Gear System. Using it Wily can overclock the CPUs of the androids to push them much more beyond their limits. Whilst this means more powers, it is dangerous for the systems driving them to madness. This is why Mega Man asked Dr. Light to install a Double Gear System also on him to increase his power and speed, and eventually defeat the eight Robot Masters and the mad mastermind once for all!

With its enhanced graphics-style, its immersive 2.5D perspective, its voice acting feature, and its brand new customization system; Mega Man 11 for Switch, PS4, and XB1 is destined to become one of (if not THE) coolest episode of this long and always acclaimed saga. Travel and battle between the physical and the virtual worlds to find even new improvements for your CPU. When all is settled unleash the flawless abilities to keep safe all the good of the world. As a robotic beacon of humanity’s potential and ideas; Mega Man is one of the few symbols of gaming which have lasted the test of time.

You’re more than a robot! Show to Dr. Wily that you fight to protect the world from those who would pit machines against men. Join the cause digitally or physically and change the society from the roots so that humans and robots can live in peace!
