Let’s back to the front with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PS4, XB1, and PC!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
PlayStation®4, Xbox™One, Battle.net Ι Genre: FPS
The gaming industry is a multi-billion business. Since the release of Space Invaders in 1978 video games grow hugely in popularity, and also thanks to superstars like Pac-Man, Super Mario, Cloud Strife, Link, and Lara Croft they became one of the most important parts of contemporary pop-culture reaching the state of “artistic medium”. For example, Pac-Man can be found in the collection of the New York’s MoMA. But there’s a specific series that also influenced the minds of millions of people worldwide: Call of Duty!
Let’s go back in 2003; on October 29 of that year, the first episode of the series has been launched for PC and later for PS3 and Xbox 360. Set during the WWII, this FPS game delivered a so vivid realism and intensity that was inconceivable until a few years earlier. Fighting in the boots of a private, the player shot his way in the chaos of the battlefield and eventually shaped the course of the modern history. Since then 14 titles have been released covering not only our recent past but also the future with the “Warfare” franchise and the threat of global terrorism with “Ghost”.
Giving a new meaning to the perception of peace and war; all of them portray the player not as a mere soldier with a mission to accomplish but more like a sort of legendary hero who fight not only for a nation but for the sake of all mankind. Even the weapons aren’t normal guns, rifles, or bombs but they’re the righteous sacred means who can lead to the victory.
This year the developers of Treyarch take us towards a brand new generation of the series with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (or IIII if you prefer) for PS4, XB1, and Battle.net.
Primarily focused on the multiplayer features, this is the first episode without the traditional single-player mode. Choosing between one of the exciting campaigns: Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies; this new installment captures faithfully the true essence of the fronts in brutal detail.
In the Multiplayer Mode you will combat in the guise of one of the ten specialists (Ruin, Prophet, Battery, Seraph, Nomad, Firebreak, Recon, Ajax, Torque, and Crash) across many different environments; the very new Blackout Mode is the best choice if you love the battle royal games like Fortnite. Enter the widest map ever seen in any CoD game; shoot like mad to thousands of enemy avatars to take home even more useful and precious loots!
And, last but not least no Black Ops title would be complete without Zombie Mode. This time the developers made it BIG as never before. Indeed you can enjoy not one but even two separate campaigns lovely filled with millions of walking dead. The first one will bring you to Ancient Rome whereas a gladiator you must fight your way to survive. The second instead will catapult you at the beginning of the XX Century on the RMS Titanic; on board, you’ll unveil the truth about the most famous sinking of the modern era. Was really an iceberg or there was something darker behind it?
Heed to the call! Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PS4, XB1, and Battle.net is like a thrilling rollercoaster that will transport you to all sorts of dangerous hot spots across the globe digitally or physically. It’s up to your tactical and physical powers to clear the missions, or die to try.
Log-in and aim carefully to shoot down hordes of cunning human enemies, or bloodthirsty zombies!
