Announced in 2010 as a tetralogy, the first episode has been released for PS3 and X360; it sees War – the youngest one – be accused to have started the Apocalypse before the right time. Due to this the Charred Council the entities who must keep balance and order among the worlds sentenced him to the eradication. Luckily War reached a deal with them; promising to bring the perpetrator of this premature event: the sadistic demon known as The Watcher.

Two years later Death has been chosen as the protagonist of Darksiders II. Set during the adventure of war, the elder Horseman strongly believes in the innocence of War; so he travels far and wide along many worlds and dimensions to erase his brother’s crime and resurrect humanity. This was the last title of the series, because soon after its release the publisher THQ declared bankruptcy, starting the liquidation of its assets. Darksiders series seems to be canceled for the eternity…until now!

Six years later it ‘s the time of Fury has come; described as the most cryptic member of the Four, she’s a mage who wield the sacred blade whip known as Scorn.
