Daedalic Entertainment‘s The Long Journey Home will get its physical release this February 8th. At first, it was available on Microsoft Windows last May 30, 2017. It was followed by PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store last November 14th, 2018. Now, for the physical enthusiasts out there, if you love space exploration games, The Long Journey Home is for you.
There are millions of celestial parts in the galaxy but only one of them is called home. An experiment has gone wrong. It was supposed to be a short test run and this test run was have a quick flight to Alpha Centauri and return back safely. However, when mankind’s first experimental goes wrong, a person inside was trapped inside on the wrong side of the universe. Now, it’s time to go back home. How this crew will find his way home from a far far far galaxy out there?
It’s time to the explore not just the world but also the outer space. Explore the universe that inspired by both classic and modern Science Fiction. Of course, there are species that are only can be seen in space. Make friends with the alien and learn their stories. What kind of hidden secrets are available in the universe? Unveil them as you open new possibilities. Survive as much as you can as you raid alien tombs along the galaxy. Recruit a crew from four out of ten experts with various specialties. Let your crew be the foundation and the way to go back home as they research from archeology to diplomacy. Form an alliance with the aliens from the noble Wolphax Knights to cruel-minded Ilitza slaver empire. You have to choose but there’s a consequence. This game combines full of galaxies, planet, and anomalies with a touch of roguelike RPG. The main objective is to bring your crew back home.
