Now that Judge Eyes: Shinigami no Yuigon (JUDGE EYES：死神の遺言) or Judgment is coming to the Western regions with the unknown official release date as of now, the fans are wondering if there’s a change on the content for the Western localization of this Sega‘s newest courtroom thriller.
Dengeki Online has published an interview with the makers behind this legal suspense action game Judgment. Game Director Kouji Yoshida and Planning Supervisor Masao Kinosaki answered all the questions as they took the hot seat. They told in the interview on how they wrote the main story, the side missions, and the characters. They also told about the development processing of the game such as adding the Dragon Engine just like in the Yakuza series, the game’s graphics and more.
In the last part of the interview, they opened about the upcoming Western localization of Judgment. The reporter of Dengeki Online was asking if there’s a change from the Japanese version to the Western localization of the game.
Here’s the answer of Director Kouji Yoshida below.
There are no changes to the game’s content in the western version. The only differences are how we’re recording an English dub, and all of the lip synchronization is being remade to fit it.
So, there you go, folks. Your curiosity has been answered. Which means you can enjoy the Western localization of the game just like the Japanese version. The only difference is the addition of the English Dub. So are you ready to get ready to be intrigued by the characters of the Judgment?
For the overview of the game, this game takes you in the modern day of Tokyo, Japan. The main protagonist, Takayumi Yagami, is a private detective and a man with strong principles to fight for his beliefs despite the hopelessness he experienced. As he faced betrayal from his client, his credibility goes rock bottom not until he caught up in a serial murder case that might push his limits with his investigative skills to solve the case.
