Indivisible

PS4™ & XONE™ – North America

  • A crowdfunded PS4, Xbox One, and PC platformer-RPG delayed to early 2019.
  • Developed by Lab Zero Games and published by 505 Games.
  • The game is practically done based on the developer’s update on the Steam community.

This 2019, an upcoming action RPG featuring a female main character named Ajna will steal your hearts as you set out on a globe-spanning adventure to uncover the truth behind her mysterious abilities. Skullgirls: Encore developer, Lab Zero, collaborated with publisher 505 Games to bring this promising RPG to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

In case you don’t know, 505 Games will fund the development of the game’s playable prototype. Plus, a crowdfunding campaign was launched for the game back in 2015, garnering over $2M, which is way beyond the studios’ original goal.

Release Date

Originally, Indivisible is slated for a 2018 release. However, the game didn’t make it to the scheduled release date and has been delayed until 2019. According to the developer, they need more time to properly work it out as the project ended up being much more demanding than they had originally imagined.

“While we did everything we could to prevent this from happening, the simple reality is that Indivisible ended up being a much larger project than we could have anticipated. This was not a decision we made lightly, nor did we make it alone. Needing more time to finish the game meant that we also needed more money. Fortunately, 505 Games has graciously funded the majority of the extension, and Lab Zero will be kicking in our Skullgirls royalties to cover the rest.”

You can check out the full announcement on their official blog site and through their official post on Twitter which can be seen below.

As of the moment, no concrete release date has been announced for the game yet beyond its early 2019 release. However, it seems like Indivisible is nearly done based on the developer’s update on the Steam page.

“This is it, folks – things are starting to get serious. Indivisible‘s launch (date still to be announced) is rapidly approaching. The game is more or less playable from beginning to end, albeit with some bugs and placeholder.”

Well, it seems like we can expect for the game to come out anytime soon, folks. We’ll keep you updated!

What is the Game all About?

From the looks of it, Indivisible is a very promising, interesting, and challenging game. Although the game’s initial release has been delayed, it’s already impressive to see how this game plays. If you haven’t seen the game’s first gorgeous animated opening by Studio TRIGGER and Titmouse, you should watch it below.

Indivisible is inspired by classic RPGs like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid, but with the unique characters and gameplay depth, the developer is known for. With its fresh spin on action/RPG gameplay, a deep storyline inspired by Southeast Asian and other world mythologies, Lab Zero’s trademark feature-quality 2D hand-drawn animation, and a lush soundtrack from legendary Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta, Indivisible will surely bring a new taste of RPG to the table.

Story & Gameplay
