Furthermore, Persona 5: The Royal will come shining this year and in 2020 with a number of new additional features such as a new Phantom Thief named Kasumi Yoshizawa, a new confidant named Takuto Maruki, a new location to explore, Kichijoji, and new strong opponents as well.
Kasumi Yoshizawa (New Character)
The new party member is a beautiful girl named Kasumi Yoshizawa. She is a transfer student at Shujin Academy who has made exceptional achievements as a rhythmic gymnast since middle school, and now that she’s in Shujin Academy, a new adventure for her future await.
In the trailer, you will see her in combat through a critical hit animation as she uses a rapier-style sword and a Winchester-type rifle.
Kasumi will play a big role and will change the original storyline of the game. Plus, she seems to be closely tied to Joker and Goro Akechi.
Takuto Maruki (New Character)
Another new major character is Takuto Maruki. He is a part-time school counselor at Shujin and at the same time, he is the new confidant of the Phantom Thieves. He is known in the academy for his good listening skills and detailed pieces of advice. His arcana is “Le Consultant.”
Moreover, here in Persona 5, the untold third school semester will finally be unveiled. A new dating location will also be added in the game as well as a new bar where players can enjoy games like pool and darts.
Persona 5: The Royal still has a bunch of new elements such as selfies sent via the in-game messaging system, new events with twins Caroline and Justine, and new enemies to battle. Check out the screenshots below.
