Video games were born way back in the early 1950s when academic computer scientists started designing simple games as part of their research or simply just for fun. However, video gaming did not make it to the limelight until the 1970s and 1980s. Back then, video arcade games were introduced and other gaming consoles that use joysticks, buttons, along with graphics on computer screens and home computers. To say the least, that era was the start of the golden age of arcade video games.

But, a brief resurgence in the gaming industry in the early 1990s somehow declined in the arcade industry because of the birth of home video game consoles such as Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox.

After that, a rapid improvement in the game’s industry spread like a wildfire. From punch cards, pixelated side-scrollers, joysticks, coin-operated arcade games to wireless controllers, portable home consoles, and realistic technological advancements of today’s generation.

However, gaming would always come to a point when players looked back and wanted to return to a simpler time. Fortunately, retro revival is happening for a couple of years now. And one of the great things about retro revival is that we’ve been flooded with all types of new products such as these mini arcades that seem to be popping up everywhere.

If you’re already familiar with these cuties, yes, they are the product of My Arcade. So, if you weren’t able to purchase the mini cabinet machines when my arcade released them, now is the perfect time to have them.

【FEATURES】

These Retro Arcade mini cabinets are originally crafted by My Arcade and are installed by games developed by Data East. If you’re going to have a closer look at the Retro Arcade’s artwork, it is really impressive and is very true to the original artwork. And for sure, this brings back a nice nostalgic smile on your face.

Moreover, the retro arcade stands almost 7 inches tall and powered by four AA batteries. It also comes with a micro-USB cable so you can have the option to play it while plugged in and not to have run off batteries. Also, the arcade’s cabinet joystick can be removed. And the volume can be put through a 3.5 mm headphone jack. More so, it features a full color, 2.75″ screen.
