ANNOUNCEMENT#1
Detective Pikachu is coming to Nintendo Switch!

Nintendo Switch owners, are you ready for one great Pokémon adventure? If you are, brace yourselves since the adventures of the adorable Detective Pikachu continue on Nintendo’s latest handheld console. Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, announced that they are working on this new Detective Pikachu game as a follow-up to the original Nintendo 3DS title. This is in collaboration with Creatures Inc. The original Detective Pikachu game for the Nintendo 3DS ended on a cliffhanger and according to Ishihara, this upcoming game would offer some sort of conclusion to the story.

ANNOUNCEMENT #2
Pokémon Home

As we all know, the Pokémon universe is more diverse than ever. Considering the wide variety of titles for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Now, with the power of a new cloud service app that will work with Nintendo Switch, iOs, and Android devices, you can now bring all the Pokémon that you’ve shared adventures with. Introducing, Pokémon HOME!

Pokémon HOME is like a supercharged version of the Pokémon Bank for the Nintendo 3DS. It links with your Nintendo Switch and smartphone so you can grab your Pokémon to continue your adventures beyond a single game system.

But that’s not all. Pokémon HOME will also work with Pokémon Bank as well as Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games, and also Pokémon GO.

As of the moment, no further feature details for Pokémon HOME was revealed, but one of the features is the trading functionality. Pokémon HOME will allow trainers to trade Pokémon anytime, anywhere through your mobile device.

Pokémon HOME is expected to launch in early 2020 for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.

ANNOUNCEMENT #3
Pokémon Sleep

Who would’ve thought that Pokemon’s gaming experience can evolve to a weirder (or even more?) than we can imagine?

As wacky as it may sound, a new Pokémon app called Pokémon Sleep was announced during the Pokémon 2019 Press Conference. According to the company, “Soon, Trainers will be able to wake up with Pokémon every morning with Pokémon Sleep, a mobile app from The Pokémon Company. Pokémon Sleep aims to turn sleeping into entertainment by having a player’s time spent sleeping, and the time they wake up, affect the gameplay.”

We know that you’re in deep curiosity as of the moment, but more details for Pokémon Sleep will be revealed at a later date.

Pokémon Go Plus +

In relation to the Pokémon Sleep app, a new device from Nintendo was also revealed and will be called Pokémon GO Plus +.

The device will use an embedded accelerometer to track a user’s time sleeping and send this information to their smartphone via Bluetooth. This new device also has the same functions as the original Pokémon GO Plus, so Trainers can use it with Pokémon GO during the day and with Pokémon Sleep at night. Trainers can look forward to Pokémon Sleep launching for mobile devices in 2020. To celebrate this early look at Pokémon Sleep, Trainers around the world will have the chance to encounter Snorlax that is lying down and deep in sleep in Pokémon GO beginning today.

ANNOUNCEMENT #4
Pokémon Masters

The Pokémon Company and DeNA will soon release a new Pokémon mobile game called Pokémon Masters for iOS and Android devices.

Pokémon Masters enables players to experience a new type of Pokémon battling on the go and features many famous Pokémon Trainers from the long history of Pokémon video games. Gameplay will be optimized for smart devices for a casual but uniquely Pokémon experience. Fans can expect more details about Pokémon Masters in June.
