Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers


Atlus’s hack ‘n’ slash title, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, is here yet again for another update. After releasing the previous character trailers for Sophia and the protagonist. Joker, Atlus now puts the spotlight on the series’ bad boy, Ryuji Sakamoto!

Ryuji Sakamoto also goes by the codename, Skull. Upon Joker’s arrival at Shujin Academy, he and Ryuji immediately became friends and was considered as the first friend made by the protagonist. Ryuji is known for his unbelievable dedication and bravery in battle, even if his mislaid arrogance and ill-natured can make more harm than good.

Atlus confirmed that they are teaming up with Koei Tecmo to create Persona 5 Dynasty Warriors-style Musou spin-off game that will be called Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. This time, this newly revealed Persona title will not be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 4, as the game is also announced for the Nintendo Switch! Yes, you read that right. You can enjoy this upcoming Musou game anytime and anywhere on-the-go!

A teaser trailer has been unveiled, revealing Joker as the protagonist of the game. In the video, Joker is shown fighting beside his persona, Arsene, at Shibuya’s famous “scramble” crossing. In the style of Warriors (aka Musou) games of Koei Tecmo, Joker is seen fighting against dozens of Persona 5 Shadows at once. A glimpse of a new character serves as the ending scene of the teaser trailer.
