Digimon Survive Introduces Ryou Tominaga and Digimon Kunemon I Find Out More About Them Here!

On the latest issue of the Japanese magazine V-Jump, two new characters on the upcoming survival-tactical RPG, Digimon Survive, were introduced to the readers. Check out the magazine feature below.
The magazine is in the Japanese language, here are the English translations: (Thanks Gematsu, TechicalSuwako and Onkei!)
The magazine feature introduces Ryou Tominaga (voiced by Yohei Azakami) and his Digimon Kunemon. Ryou is a third-year high school student who is unable to accept that he has come to another world, while his Digimon Kunemon (voiced by Ryouhei Arai) does not speak human language but understands Ryou.
The feature also shared some new story information:
- A mist rises while Takuma is investigating the shrine, and a strange presence could gradually be felt approaching. When monsters attack, Takuma cooperates with new friend Koromon to fight back.
- Upon returning to the school they are staying at during the camp, they find it in shambles. Anxious and at a loss, they hear Ryou scream from inside the building…
- Move around freely and search for a way to survive within the time limit. Move around the map as you please, talk with friends, and investigate suspicious places to advance the story.

Your favorite monsters in the digital world are back at Digimon Survive. It is an upcoming survival-tactical RPG with a few elements of a visual novel developed by Witchcraft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The game was first announced in 2018 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on a Japanese Magazine Jump V. Later on, it was followed by Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s announcement for its western versions as well as adding Xbox One and PC platforms. However, this year, it was revealed that the game is delayed to 2020.
